Who are we and what do we do?

KARRASKAN is a network of different experiences, founded in January 2012, and distributed throughout the country, comprised of independent agents, related to different cultural fields, contemporary creativity and the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI).

The activities of these organisations and agents involve the development of projects and services that range from ideation and design to production and dissemination, through spaces, programmes and other advanced services; from which action can be taken in local communities and global, emerging, diversified and changing markets.

This results in a differentiating and qualitative proposition, which arises from combining the work of different individuals, reinforcing a common approach, and based on a vocation to share, disseminate and act. New possibilities between guerrilla cooking and social theatre, design thinking and transmedia grammar, collaborative methodologies and audience laboratories, soft technologies and performance arts, culture metrics and improvised music, citizen participation and jugglery, work in progress and heritage, frontiers and co-creation…
